Much like Storm Claudia hit the northern region the previous evening, City swept the visitors aside at the Etihad Stadium. It was a emphatic three-nil win for Andrée Jeglertz’s side thanks to goals from Rebecca Knaak, Bunny Shaw and Hemp. It was a display that clearly signaled their championship potential as they consolidated their standing at the WSL pinnacle.
